Welcome to the website of the Glenelg High School Bands and Marching Unit, one of the premier band programs in the state of Maryland and the East Coast. For over 30 years, this group, consisting of the symphonic band, jazz band, marching band, dance team, and silks squad, has received hundreds of awards and first place finishes in state and national competitions.

We invite you to share in our tradition of excellence as you tour the pages of this website and learn about the many concerts, support activities, and accomplishments of our bands and marching unit.

• Glenelg Jazz Ensemble to perform at Major European Jazz Festivals - The Glenelg Jazz Ensemble has been asked to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, as well as Jazz a' Vienne and Jazz a' Juan in France. This is a tremendous honor and we are looking forward to touring Europe in the summer of 2009. More details will follow.
