For years, the Glenelg Marching Band has been known for its rich, full sound. Together with the Drill Team and Silks, it presents original field choreography that dazzles and awes its audiences at home football games every year.

For the 2011 season, the show will include the fiery Spanish opener "The Tiger", Joan Jett's big hit "I Love Rock and Roll", the dance hit "Cupid Shuffle" and the show closes with the stirring "Somewhere" from West Side Story. Fielding approximately 112 members, this year's marching unit is under the field leadership of drum major Johnathon Ford.
